Elephants are quite industrious and common in Thailand but it is very funny to see a lazy elephant. This lazy elephant blocks the road and takes a nap in front of everyone. This incident took place in Thailand.
Nattawat Patsungsing was on his motor vehicle and off for work. He was late for work that day, his reason being a lazy elephant blocking his path. This took place in Nakhon Ratchasima, a city in the Northern part of Thailand.
Nattawat recorded a video of this elephant while he had to wait for the animal to wake up. He had to be extremely silent and avoided scaring the sleeping giant. Elephants can charge humans if they get spooked or feel threatened.

The lazy elephant stood up, stared at Nattawat, and reversed back into the forest.
The Video Of The Lazy Elephant
The video clip started with Nattawat driving towards the animal, slowly. He zooms in the video where we can see the lazy elephant move its leg and flap its ears. It seemed to be in a deep slumber.
The animal wakes up later and stood up as if it had a bad dream.
The motorist had spoken to the wildlife officials and understood that this elephant was quite troublesome and was named Nga-Thong. This means ‘golden ivory’ in the native language.
This elephant lies on roads frequently to feel the warmth and avoids revealing himself on busy roads. The animal is quite shy and avoids cars, buses, and loud noises. The only people who see him often are the Wildlife officials on their daily watch.

Nattawat had to wait for 20 minutes before the elephant got up and he was late for his work. He might have been late for his work but this experience with a lazy elephant will live with him for the rest of his life.
